This two-day workshop will introduce the glass bead artist to the fascinating effects that can be achieved by using fine silver wire, foils and mesh in torch worked beads. We will demonstrate the use of foils, both encased and burnished onto the surface of the bead, the techniques of using fine silver wire to embellish the beads, and how to use fine silver mesh to achieve various effects.

We will also demonstrate how to use Bullseye’s new luster rods to develop new colors and metallic effects in your beads.
Prerequisite: A comfortable knowledge of the techniques of making glass beads at the torch. Intermediate level.
