Among the topics to be discussed and illustrated are:
- Repeating organic borders with interlocking irregular shapes
- Various ways of texturing the front and back surfaces of tiles
- Creating a mural/panel made up of smaller glass tiles
- How to use torchworked elements in tile designs
- Designing tiles around a theme and making several different types of tiles that carry the theme
- Etching detailed patterns into iridized tiles
- Overlaying transparent colors over opals to create exciting new colors and subtle transitions.
This workshop will help you work towards the look you want for your own tiles
