Copper Clay with Lampworked Bead Jewelry Saturday & Sunday, March 27th & 28th, 2009 Tuition $295
Learn the necessary skills needed for working with this brand new copper clay material on day one of this 2 day workshop. Rolling, cutting, texturing, piercing, forming, carving and curing of the unfired clay will be covered. The clay will be baked overnight in the kilns and the second day will be spent creating your own personal jewelry. Cold connect glass discs to your copper with sterling tubing and design matching earrings and, if time allows, a bracelet. Wire wrapping and metal working skills will be covered and used to construct the jewelry pieces. All levels.
